Our two-pronged approach
We helped Convr’s marketing team to increase their brand visibility and reach highly targeted audiences in the insurance space. They wanted to stand out at key industry events and make sure they were top of mind when prospects were looking for competitor solutions.
We designed a two-pronged digital campaign:
Display advertising: We targeted attendees at major industry events by geofencing venues and serving brand awareness ads to insurance professionals as they attended conferences and exhibitions.
Search campaign: We built campaigns focused on competitor keywords to capture high-intent prospects actively comparing solutions.


A pause for thought
At first, the search campaign looked promising on paper, delivering plenty of impressions and clicks. But conversions were lower than expected and the ads weren’t appearing consistently in live searches.
We dug deeper and identified that Convr’s site had some SEO limitations that were impacting ad performance. So, rather than pushing ahead with wasted spend, we recommended pausing the search campaign until those SEO foundations were fixed.
Immediate results
After the pause, we relaunched the search campaign and the difference was immediate.
Convr wanted to see excellent growth in new business, particularly business that was searching for competitor technologies. By the end of the campaign, paid search became (and remains) the biggest source of website traffic, driving high-quality visitors and better engagement. Combined with event-based display advertising, Convr achieved both broad brand awareness and meaningful conversions from a highly relevant audience.
